jds and odine,
jds What made you change your mind about the Electrowave side of the business?

To both of you, what kind of vision did they share? What do you
iyo foresee for EW? With the predicted cuts in military systems what direction is EW heading? Do they have ideas for new products or new markets for existing products? Just a general how does it look to you type question.

--------------------------------------------------------------
Last year, and IMO. Electrowave was a low key, R+D type company , that had a ton of potential , but really no driving force.

First impression's are went i went off last year, as i was unfamilar with the electrOwave portion of the buisness.

They have made changes , ones that will take the technological advances, the potential and the scientific know how, and added the driving force that was needed to fuel what Electrowave has always been capable of doing.

They are much more focused on Marketing and selling the products and technology, where the "old" management wasnt focused enough on advancing as they were on devolping.

Ron nance and Greg Boucher were good men with good qualitys, who were replaced by Equals, whose vision to expand is just a little stronger, a quality that was needed.

Brad Parro, who is V.P, of operations runs/oversees Electrowave in the bigger picture.

What thet are doing now is working on the sta-sys, like i said before, this system is not just for yachts, but ships, like the viking or naval , carnival type ships as well as yachts ect...

Also was the drill- sys, we witnessed one being built and were given a demo (very impressive) about 15-20 a year will be built for Trans- ocean as they are using us to exclusively replace and outfit their outdated rigs. There is much more going on there and from talking with Ron (of E.W.) and Steve J. (SALES E.W.) its of my opinion that we will see much more fruit of labor, come from that subsidiary.

Fwiw, if you took away all the one time charges not only would DPDW have shown a profit , but each subsidiary would have shown one as well.

This IMO is a testament that Growth is taking place in all DDI companies.

2009 brings another year of exciting times and growth prospects, especially as we can now eliminate these one time charges and move on.
