Britney: Not A Girl, Now A Samsung Marketing Queen

Pop-music icon Britney Spears forges a long-term, multi-tier sponsorship and marketing agreement with Samsung Telecommunications America just in time for her 33-city North American tour. The agreement enables Samsung to capitalize on the singer's popularity with the young and hip crowd to market three of its soon-to-roll out mobile phones, the SGH-r225M, SPH-a500 and SPH-n400. In return, Samsung will sponsor Spears' 'Dream Within A Dream' concert tour.

In addition, Samsung has joined WFX: Wireless Fan Access to launch 'Britney WFX,' an official Britney Spears wireless fan club. The service debuted at 500 Best Buy retail stores, offering fans voice and text messages, fashion tips, horoscopes and Britney tour information.
