I don't get it. Now if the offer is .001 and one of the MMs put an offer @ .0009, that could be a sign of the MM trying to short it and then covering it by moving his bid up gradually. Easier to do so on a thinly trade stock and easier to do if there are less MMs like we have here now.

With only one brokerage firm showing that offer tells me he is not posting his offer through the electronic service and only posting his offer to only those in that brokerage house.
That is why the other brokerage firms are not seeing it. He has a big seller in that one firm and knows he can short it even at this level so he puts his offer in even below that seller's offer between the bid/ask of the other brokerage firms. JMO

For example, you recall, I was saying he too had an offer @ .001. Then he lowered down to .0005. then to .0004. He may be doing it to get some folks to hit the bid just by lowering his offer attempting signal some folks a seller is around when there really isn't. JMO
