Is anybody using X-ten lite softphone?
First, thanks for the help understanding this, guys. It really caught my eye because I was wondering if my hubby could call me from his laptop while he's in Korea or wherever. I know Vonage using the xten softphone, but don't know what other voip providers do, as xten allows private label branding. If anybody's tried it I'd like to know if they're happy with the service. It might be a moot point if nobody serves the the Florida panhandle yet.
Does anybody know the percentage of 3g vs cdma or other networks? I've been getting tons of mail on Lucent contracts to set up network stuff I haven't even heard of. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm getting the impression that a 3-g network is best suited to Calypso, while a cdma network might be better suited to solutions other than Calypso. With the tech details spilling out of my brain almost as fast as they go in, I could be way off base. BBaazz comment about xten going after a different market got me to wondering. Well, there are business calls, and personal calls, and people making personal calls from their business, etc..but in the end there's a finite amount of time anybody wants to spend on the phone (teenagers excluded). How do you think the market will be divided? This is an exercise in trying to guess market share for Calypso, maybe futile, but what the hey.
Has anybody done any dd on Xten, if so do you know if they sold broadscope yet? I was thinking I might buy XNWK until I saw that part of the business, but their report says it's being sold. I dumped my AUO so now I have enough cash to buy both CLYW and XNWK, or either, or add KWNS too. Opinions please.
