Prior to Apexion, Gene spent 35 years in several leadership and executive roles in the technology industry. His record includes extensive experience in sales, marketing, corporate development and operations for both Hewlett Packard and IBM. Most recently, Gene was the CEO of EDiX Corporation (a subsidiary of IDX with over $100M in revenue in 2002). Gene is an active leader in the healthcare industry and in numerous other professional organizations. Barduson received his Bachelors in Mathematics from St. Cloud University, St. Cloud, Minn., and Masters in Mathematics from the University of Northern Iowa, Cedar Falls, Iowa.
