This country will always have a pluralistic structure...period. Capitalism in and of itself does not address "the common good". Besides making money, I hope you feel that being an American means more than simply coming and going as I please and making money. Personally, I have an OBLIGATION to leave the country in particular, and the world in general a better place. We can talk centralized or decentralized efficiencies, but franky the government can effect things that pure capitalism would never address.

If you are only patriotic because you own the flag company and you love seeing millions of them on July 4th, then we still have some work to do.
