Southern Man, You know I respect your posts. Allow me to publicly ask you the question:

If Addax had already signed a contract for the Deepwater Pathfinder, why did Jean Gandur, CEO, state at the earnings conference call that the reports in the marketplace about
Addax contracting an ROO were "rumors"?

He added that Addax was actively looking for the ROO and "he hoped to issue a formal (public) announcement, but at the present time he could not forecast a favorable outcome on the deal".

If the deal was done, why was he even partly negative about a favorable outcome?

Why didn't he say something to the effect that we are in discusions for an ROO contract and are hopeful for a favorable outcome?

Unless he's playing poker with Transocean about the actual dollar amount for leasing an expensive ship, the Deepwater Pathfinder.

What would be your explanation?
