Of course people don't buy shares to make others feel more comfortable, but it gives me more confidence when the owners of the company are putting their own money at risk by purchasing stock, just like I am doing.

The cynic in me says, "why is the stock such a good deal if the people who know its business the best aren't buying shares?". If they aren't buying, then why should I?
