Not disagreeing with any of the folks that put up a counter to my earlier point, all I am getting at is one, the companies are still developing the technology, they can move forward without the license. They would only have to license once they go public and put out into the main stream and attempt to profit/publicize,etc. blah, blah, blah. Secondly, if the current cases against Scanbuy do not go in our favor, businesses will leverage all they can to use those cases as a precident to fight possible future battles. Judges have many times had thier own agenda and made decisions tht do not fall in line with the law. As stated before, I as well think NEOM has an extremely strong case and stand in the arena, but they dont have the power to enforce the patent if the judges/juries that hear the cases interpet the patent differently. I think all would agree, most folks (minus this room of course) have varying views of the patent and its interpretation...the courts will decide just how wide that patent ultimately is....
