House of Brussels Delivers Second Private Label Chocolate Order to a Major Retailer in as Many Weeks
HOUSTON, Jul 20, 2004 (BUSINESS WIRE) --
House of Brussels Chocolates ("The Company", "Brussels" or "HBSL") (OTCBB:HBSL), through its CEO Grant Petersen, is pleased to announce the first delivery of its second Private Label deal to a major retailer in the month of July. This first shipment left our manufacturing facility in record time, being less than two weeks after receiving the purchase order and its specifications.
The client wishes to withhold their name at this time for competitive reasons, but they are a 90-year-old North American Chocolatier with over 2000 Company-owned and Affiliated retail outlets. While HBSL is not expecting the ultimate revenue magnitude of this client to approach the potential reported last week for our Walgreens contract, it is anticipated that this client will handily once again meet our goal of adding solid million-dollar-plus clients.
Grant Petersen, CEO of Brussels, said, "The record speed of initiation and delivery for such a major specialty chocolate retailer is nothing short of amazing in this industry which is known for its long lead times between first discussion and delivery. This is clearly a testament to the quality of our products, along with the professionalism and coordination abilities of our Development and Production teams." Petersen went on to say, "As we come to the close of our first fiscal quarter, a quarter that has historically been one of Christmas order preparation, but with little seasonal sales, I am happy to report that the successful re-mapping of the Company's business plan that began two years ago should start to become abundantly apparent when this first quarter's results are reported in September."
