I supervise the production of ICE. Yes, I feeze water. Sounds lame...but is it? Obviously there is a call for this most needed of product where temps routinely tap 125 in the summer. Would you like to go on a mission outside the wire and drink 125 degree water? Do you want to work all day in the sun with no ice in the cooler? Come summertime, the Ice mission is as important as any convey mission. Truth be told, in the summer, Ice is king. Why do I do it? Because I can. They pay me well. I make well over 100k, 86k of which is tax free. I don't do it for the medals, I already have all the medals and memories I need from my Active Duty time.
