If I am not mistaken, when they say total share holder equity, it does NOT mean the value of the price per share currently. It should mean how much Land America sold to investors during the course of the Business of a public corp.

You cannot determine the price each share when the Bar Date has not even been reached.

I hope no one is mislead here into thinking the value of each share is approx. $48. If this were true, the PPS would not be where it is now.
