My guess is the shorts are running this down in desparation. Add to that the overall market sentiment and you have some people selling and glad to get out above .70. Gaps are never good unless there is sufficient volume to keep it up.

I see trades on Level II showing buys at .60 for 10k and 12k and then a series of smaller buys at .70. Low of .67 on a 10k trade.
