Election 2008 factoids:

Among states where the largest city resides on the edge of the state’s physical boundaries, Obama won 88% (248/282) of the electoral votes.

Among states where the largest city does not reside on the edge of the state’s physical boundaries, Obama won 46% (117/256) of the electoral votes.

Significance of all this? None that I’m aware of :- )
