I am....got tons of start up venture work ta do today.....1st honest ta goodness meetin w/another BOD member later on that I need to prep for.
So I'm tryin ta get a lil personal stuff done earleir than usual for a Sun....bills, workin on taxes & cleanin up the place.....the meeting is here...lol
Bein that itza non profit watchin the $$'s are even more important.
Guess that person who posted here back when is no longer around....wasn't there someone here who was a former dog groomer or somethin like that...maybe a DVM Tech?
Anyway....it's an animal welfare non profit....& today's Sun AM front page headline...."Non Profits Hit Hard Times"

Then again I very much expect this to be the case...I do follow 4x & the mrkts in genl ya know...lol
Of course we gotta be creative (as the article states) & try & use the net to network even more so.....some NP's may even join forces & merge which aint all that bad of an idea in this enviornment/mrkt dynamic.
I do have an Angel who wants to invest (he's been providng free consulting & has offered free web hosting services (I'll have a professional lookin email addy up soon instead of my cheesey lil hotmail box I've been usin) & he says when the equities pick back up & his investments begin to show some returns, it'll rain on my venture a bit...maybe come Spring or early summer. Nice thing is it should cost approx 6-8K to get full lift off....not much by VC standards at all. & 1 benefit is....being that itza non profit, we'll be taxed on a different level...an added bonus when making the Pitch.
NO Fed tax & the State tax is minimal.....then again Arnie's been mess'n w/that too as of late...."Mr. ol' Vee vont vraise u r taxes....u can count on dat"....yea right, tphhhfftt!!!
