I was just having this dicussion with my husband. This is going to be a total mess. Not sure how many jobs are going to be created when reimbursements are cut and physicians make less money. How will new technologies be paid for? What would make someone want to be a physician when the cost of educating a physician is so high and the salaries will not compensate for all the responibility and hard work placed on a physicians shoulders?

I know quite a few physicians who voted for Obama. Could not figure out why since many earn more than 250K a year and because of the republican strong stand on socialized medicine.
The worst part is government will be making decisions on the delivery of health care instead of physicians. Scary.
