Piecemaker why don't you tell the posters on this board that you don't see a single device being run by a Cyclone (complete stand alone) engine. That you don't see a WHE running (running on waste heat). That everything you see is R&D. Cyclone can find time to make mock-ups but can't find the time to make something showing it is powered by a Cyclone engine.

Cyclone does not yet have a running lawnmower to show the public . The test was made comparing a Cyclone engine running on propane and an equivalent 3HP engine running on gasoline. The Cyclone engine polluted less. They never compared the two engines running on the same fuel.

Cyclone Power Technologies Tests Emissions of its Green Engine;
Expects to Exceed 2011 EPA Standards at No Added Cost
POMPANO BEACH, FL, Sept. 10, 2008 – Cyclone Power Technologies Inc. (Pink Sheets: CYPW) announced today the results of greenhouse gas emissions testing conducted on the award-winning Cyclone Engine.
The tests were performed four times on the fuel combustion system of the company’s 3HP propane-fueled engine, and then on a 2007 3HP gas-powered lawn mower engine. Compared to the standard lawn mower, the Cyclone Engine produced the following test results:
- Carbon Dioxide (CO2) emissions were 21 percent lower;
- Carbon Monoxide (CO) emissions were 63 percent lower; and
- Nitrogen Oxide (NOX) emissions were 99 percent lower, with readings from the Cyclone at statistical zero.
“We are pleased with these emission test results, but not at all surprised,” said Cyclone CEO Harry Schoell. “We have always known that the Cyclone Engine runs substantially cleaner than the dirty and wasteful spark-ignited gas engines used to power most lawn and garden equipment today. For instance, our engine runs at atmospheric pressures, and as a result, produces no NOX emissions.”
The company’s tests coincide with the Sept. 4 announcement by the Environmental Protection Agency of long-awaited regulations requiring a 35 percent reduction in emissions from new lawn and garden equipment beginning by 2011. The EPA estimates this new rule will reduce annual emissions of hydrocarbons by 600,000 tons, NOX emissions by 130,000 tons, and CO emissions by 1.5 million tons. Implementing the required changes, however, will cost about $236 million a year, according to EPA estimates. These costs are expected to be passed on to consumers in the form of more expensive lawnmowers, most likely requiring catalytic converters. According to the California Air Resources Board, consumers can expect to pay about 18 percent higher for walk-behind models when these regulations take effect.
Not so with the clean, green Cyclone Engine.
“We expect the Cyclone will have no problem meeting and beating EPA greenhouse gas standards without additional costs to the consumer,” Schoell said. “Our engine requires no catalytic converter, and is generally much simpler to manufacture than a comparable internal combustion engine.”
In addition to not requiring a catalytic converter, the Cyclone Engine does not use any motor oil – it is water lubricated – thus saving consumers additional money and leading to less waste, leakage and spillage of petroleum products.

For the tests, the company used a Bridge Model 9005-03 Gas Analyzer, which uses NDIR technology to measure CO and CO2, and electro-chemical sensors to measure NOX. These are the only technologies certified for use on domestic and international emissions test programs such as California BAR-97 and OIML International.
