My friend this is just a ploy to get people to buy shares now before the x dividend date so the will qualify for the shares in xyz. For your sake I hope that you get 1 share on exxon mobil for every 2 shares you own of fmnj. Do you think that will be the deal. No. If it is a major company you will get 1 share for every million frankies which still is probTbly a good deal for big shooters like you and dendiamond .The point is this will never happen anyway but if it did I fail to see how it would increase shareholder value since the shareholders and not the company gets the shares.But what the heck, if you believe you can invest another ten grand and buy what like a billion shares yourself. Relax since like I said , it aint gonna happen.
