That doesn't make sense Bingo ! The XP 3000+ rating did not make much sense either yet that happened. The clock rate of the 3100+ is 1.8 Ghz which is the same as the A64 2800+, there is going to be a 400 PR point differential between K7 and K8 Semprons in at least games although other clock sensitive applications may redress the balance, remembering the rating is a 3-category average. If I have time I may look at the other applications in that review and do some comparisons.
