aj, i've been finding Home Depot selling those squiggley 60 watt'rs for extremely low prices. Something like $6 for a 4 pk... I don't exactly recall. It was stupid cheap.

Are you suggesting it does not make sense to switch? I mean, I'm completely sold on the CFBs, but wonder what you are saying...

I like the fact they should use a lot less energy, need replacing far less often, and don't produce nearly as much heat.
I can't speak to how manufacturing costs differ, or the pollution effects upon disposal... but I will be shattered to find out that it is entirely worthless for us collectively to switch out;-00
