beefy you're bringing up good points...
I don't want to contradict but I certainly recall Steve Weiss and Da Silva claiming that the olympic committee had called Da Silva in urgently...that is factual the problem is that Weiss erased all the info from the site so we can't refer to it anymore. Remember the little bit about Da Silva holding up papers in his hands at the meeting and claiming to have all of these contracts...(i'm not going to go through the 80 000 posts, but i remember people attending that famous first shareholder meeting and updating the board with info, there were pictures and all kinds of stuff). I listened to the cast too, (wish I could have a copy today arghhh!!!) and my recollection was that management at the time had denied the olympic stuff, it made no sense anyways.

Between me and you honestly how could such a small company push out coke or pepsi, even if the games were in China, the olympics is an international movement, there is no way these guys running a start up could have had access to the funds necessary to secure such a deal no matter how good there water is. That olympics stuff was complete BS and that is on Da Silva.

You're right about the second meeting though, they did seem to indicate that they "anticipated" shipping and completing everything, as well as the filings. They screwed that up and that's when they went silent.

I'll do some D on the filings and get back to you with what I find.

The pic I was referring to is in the "Company" section of their website, you have a bunch of stiff looking guys and Hassoun with some sort of a red cardboard sign that says 50?? the caption also says 2008 award at the Great Hall in Beijing, why was Hassoun there and not all powerful Da Silva.
This quote of your's throws me off:

In my conversations with Manuel a while back he said to show him anywhere where it showed he received one penny or share from aquagold. He says that no one can because he was ripped of by Goeree and company just like the share holders. The big mistake they made was getting rid of him a little to soon because he had all the contacts, not York Tang. The remaining management was so inept that they couldn't even get the labels and molds completed. There is a big block of stock becoming free trading soon and that is the only reason you are seeing any life in the company now.....if you can call PR'ing a former restaurant asst. manager as VICE PRESIDENT A REAL PR...LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!

Elements that bother me here:
1) "The big mistake they made was getting rid of him a little to soon because he had all the contacts, not York Tang" Why was York Tang involved in the first place? York Tang must have some contacts if in fact they ended up in the Great Hall. It couldn't be Da Silva's doing or else he would have been there receiving the award logically. That part doesn't make sense. If he is so well connected in China, how come the Aquablue website mentions markets in the Middle East only...

2) It is not typical of CEO's to blast the entire former team of which he was so proud, remember Da Silva's update from november 2007 how he applauded the efforts of his team:

"Once again, I would like to extend heartfelt gratitude to the diverse groups that have supported us over the years, a special thanks to my immediate teams that have shown the resilience necessary to make all this possible.

Sincerely

Manuel Da Silva
President & C.E.O.
AQUAGOLD INTERNATIONAL INC."

Then he turns around and takes a crap on all of them and discredits Tang, not too classy and unbusiness like...

3) "if you can call PR'ing a former restaurant asst. manager as VICE PRESIDENT A REAL PR..." Da Silva was the one who originally put Hassoun in place, how come it was good for him in the beginning than he discredits something he did himself as CEO. Illogical again. And the end of the day where is it written that a restaurant manager is destined to that type of job forever. Restaraunts are a business like any other, a prestigious restaurant is a serious restaurant, Hassoun wasn't managing a McDonald's after all...

What I'm trying to get here is that I don't think we can take what any of them say for face value...I wouldn'T trust what Da Silva says no matter how long he spends on the phone with anyone. Proof speaks louder than words, and there is no proof of anything but the lies and contradictions from everyone involved of course....

In regards to signing with a distributor being easy and no big deal, I'll have to take your word for it, I don't know much about distribution deals, feel free to share your expertise. I noted that Wolong only got involved after Da Silva's departure. That means to me that the remaining team did have contacts in China and Da Silva was full of it in this regard: If it so easy to get distribution agreements with large companies, who was Da Silva's distribution partner.

I never posted because IMO the company was dead. With this recent activity startig up and specifically the last PR, I have a gut feeling that there have been changes. I don't think Silvas is DaSilva and I'm encouraged by his past corporate activities.

Supposing that the team in place was incompetent, it seems to me that it is a good sign if they are making changes let's see where it goes...

I'm not done yet, I have contacts in the Montreal nightscene, if Hasson was a public figure at the time (refer to the article in the Gazette) I should be able to track down someone that knows him and get a version of the story... I will keep you posted...the truth is somewhere and eventually we will find it..

Best of luck to all.
