kpf, first 90nm this Q is very good! Now, about crossover of wafer starts, this doesn't really tell us a lot, does it? Given similar yields then the usable dies from 90nm should well exceed usable dies from 130nm when the wafer starts crossover is achieved. However, how does one apply the startup yield curve? It is a problem.

Perhaps AMD does not want to commit to the crossover point for actual product because there are too many unknowns with the startup yields on a new process. I guess I am asking for too much.

However, first product this Q, that is something important!
