Some of the authors of some articles obviously a tool of the short hedge funds. They possibly try to make their articles more negative even though this news is very positive for Citigroup shareolders?

They conveniently left out the fact that the government's choice to become a common shareholder, the odds of "wiping out" common shareholders is less likely since they are now in the same boat as the common shareholders.

There is a HUGE difference between the government taking ownership of preferred shares versus common shares!!!
