Nice post, Chance.

Always good to have a transcript on hand. Thank you.

After reading it a few times, what jumps out at me the most is the same thing that jumps out from other bulletin board companies trying to make a fast name for themselves. That is to say, they highlight all the "talks" they are currently in, or have had with potential customers. But what I would like to see is less talk about talking, and more talk about closing. We all know that Lee Cole and Roger Holdem did enough talking to last three lifetimes. What we need now are more solid contracts.

And yet, here we are still --- Talking...

1) "...And we happen to be talking to one of the largest QSRs already even within our first two weeks of us being on board."

2) "... But we had some phenomenal meetings that started off right away with that week and with Camelot. And Camelot controls the UK lottery, as well as they have their plans of extending the Camelot brand across the globe."

3) "...As well as we also met with Coral, the Gala Coral Group and their Chairman and marketing executives. They control casinos and betting shops and also bingo."

4) "...We met with Atari UK who was fascinated with the product. They were truly fascinated of how we can insert across six of their various verticals just within their brand alone for distribution."

5) "...Within the sports, we will be addressing the NFL in New York with their head of technology and innovations for consumer products."

6) "...As well as in the European soccer market, there are several teams that are trying to go out in the market, gain additional market share, and provide a value of extended play patterns. So we’re TALKING with those groups as well."

7) "...We have also great phone calls and conference calls with some of the largest companies in education today with bases of over 120,000 schools, book fairs and libraries, major publishing companies in the educational field, which also include the likes of having the #1 kids magazine in the U.S., printed 10 times a year."
------------------------------------------

So where does this leave us? Seriously, I can personally call up each and every one of these entites myself and pitch my latest innovation. So what!

In the world of sales, it comes down to three letters. - A.B.C.

I'll give Donovan a chance because he's only been on the job a few weeks. But if the "talking" continues into 2010, it will be time to dump.
