Spot gold rises more than 2 pct to top $960 Tue Feb 17, 2009 7:13am GMT Print | Single Page[-] Text [+] TOKYO, Feb 17 (Reuters) - Spot gold rose more than 2 percent to top $960 per ounce, lifted by safe-haven buying due to the deepening financial crisis.
As of 0704 GMT, it was trading at $959.40 per ounce.
