I will put up my expertise against yours any day of the week my friend. The reasons buzz blocks that traffic have already been given. The fact that others do not block certain statistics bots does not mean they can't.

You see my friend, the internet is based on the TCP/IP protocol and services over the TCP/IP protocol work over well defined standard TCP ports. Port 80 and (443 for https) is the port reserved for the HTTP protocol which is the protocol that allows web browsers to interact with Web servers.
