If thats the plan its just rewarding bad behavior. Seems there is no easy way out. I posted last year that homes that need major renovations need to be disassembled and taken off the market to help stabilize prices and tighten supply/demand. I know it sounds crazy but if some of this froth is not eliminated this will be a downward spiral for years. Leaving people in there homes that cant afford them in the first place is just delaying the inevitable.
