RoadRunner modem bone heads

Years ago the she/he (afraid to ask) put in spliter
from existing cable line to modem. So it failed daily for
a week like DSL Out comes real TW Japanese guy. Tests
line and says ya subcontractor (???) put it in backwards.
Worked ok until last week. RCA modem has been better
than older Toshiba one.
Sure making trading a pain. Glad no real money being
lost in this poopy stuff. I'm on stinky yellow-green
runny alert.
