SCOTTRADE; same problem with me as well. I had purchased ENCS stock back in May of '08 with no problem. I sold yesterday and wanted to get back in today after the selll-off. The computer displayed a message stating to call my local broker when I tried to place an order. The broker told me it was on their no buy/ sell only list. WTF SCOTTRADE, time for Scottrade clients to call and complain. This has happened before with Scottrade. I like that they have a local branch in my city and many across the country. I am not happy about not being able to buy certain stocks though. Years ago Scottrade did not have the ability to carry orders out to 4 decimal places without going through a broker. A lot of people complained and that problem was corrected by Scottrade. Maybe it's time to start calling and get this type of situation taken care of as well. Let your opinion be heard, START CALLING SCOTTRADE!
