Don't you mean Itanic? I don't mean to be rude, because I don't know what you know, but I do have my doubts (about) Itanic based on the last couple of years following it's rise and decline.

Perhaps you should stick to making wine instead of indulging
so heavily in it. My evidence is your claim of a "decline" in
IPF. In the real *sober* world IPF sales have posted over
50% sequential quarter over quarter growth for at least the
last year and have already overtaken the two of the five high
end server RISC families with the third one likely to fall
later this year.

Who in god's name was the person that came up with that name. Was it launched with insider knowledge that it was doomed?

Probably a typical infantile Intel basher who'd rather call
it names than deal with the reality of IPF being born into
nearly across the board industry support. Or the fact that
the two best design teams of the RISC generation either
work for or with Intel on future generations of IPF.
