Cortex always presents at Roth, since,as you note, it is easy and convenient. It doesn't say anything about their anticipation of announcements or lack thereof, they scheduled this months ago. It also takes just part of a day out of the schedule, whereas bringing the corporate entourage to the BIO CEO conference in New York takes up several days, and a lot more money. At this point, trolling for partnering interest is over, they don't have time to waste on that. No new entrant is going to show up in time to make a difference, so they have to see what can be completed with the companies they are already negotiating with.
