The SEC is really starting to come down hard on wash traders who run all of the false volume scams. Here is a new complaint that was combined with criminal charges on a wash trading group who operated in 2005 and 2006. They are running about 3 to 4 years behind, but they will eventually get around to nailing the guys who are doing it now.
