Longer term, watching some big-board energies looking good lately: KWK ATW WFT IVAN FCL
I'm very bullish on KWK...up 33% since I started watching on 1/23/09, P/E still only 2.8 today after another 2.6% rise. Over 12% is held short. $8 stock was in the $40s during last summer's energy bubble. Oh, and the company is reportedly being run very efficiently compared to the competition.
FCL & KOL...slow but sure coal plays, been long in FCL since late December, figured the bottom was in for the cheap & dirty energy source, bought some FCL in the $12s then, its in the $18s now, was in the $80s last summer.
And speaking of green coal, watch EEE, a distressed "clean coal" penny play, supposedly a shabby company but a potential runner if da'gummint announces big funding for clean coal projects. Watch yer step here.
