2 cents from the gallery, IMHO

I think the Doc's did us a huge favor with this move. If you think about how negotiations go, I am sure that Big Pharma would put have put up the $1.8m (round number) for the lab facilities, etc, but they wanted control of the "stuff". The Docs found a way to meet a need (buy needed stuff) without having "sell" the control for the same $1.8m. They were very resourceful and found a way to protect themselves, their property, and us too.

I think this outcome explains what has been happening. Big Pharma knew that there was a significant need for more "stuff" in order to do the tests. They believed they could play "chicken" with the Docs, to get them to sign an agreement for a couple of $m or so, but the Docs didn't want to give up the control. Big Pharma had the $$$s, the Docs the intellectual property, so for the last two months they have been going back and forth and Big Pharma believed that the Doc's need for the money was greater than their desire to hold on to control.

Now this announcement might also be a negotiating ploy as well, so this matter may not be over.

Most of the time when insiders sell it is a bad sign, but in this case, I choose to believe it is a good sign. They are willing to reinvest directly into the business. They are not taking profit.
