1) yeah I don't see any big general bull on the near horizon.. or a quick recovery.. except in a few specific areas... a lot of which are shorts..
2) I'm still long yield.. but not in O&G .. some pipelines, power gen and infrastructure.. (I think the infrastructure is on watch already as the profits are quite good for me here already)
3) Long 2 Canuck banks but mostly National.. based on the retail business..
4) Some REITs but that is on close watch too..
5) I'm not sure about capitalism's death... but the markets as they've been ? Sure. I cringe every time I hear about getting consumers in the US (and Canada) spending again.. Must be some good dope being smoked out there... Folks need to repair personal balance sheets.. Recovery is a long ways off..
5) Long a junk bond fund..
6) Short ? Sure.. TBT, SRS, likely adding on dips.. SRS DIPPED Friday...
7) Long gold via HGU.. looking for some junior minors maybe... been a long time since I've held one of those.. I see your disconnect... which is why I'm long... We now have safe haven buying it seems..
8) Looking more for protecting what I have ideas.. besides putting under my bed..
9) Thoughts on physical gold..
