The company could be in a tough situation, release DIVI news and pump the PPS while trying to buyback stocks or hold the news until the buyback is done while the stock is cheap and then release DIVI news. The company makes business decisions to please the business not the investor. With good business decisions the investor should win in the end. I make no claims to the ligitimacy of the business.
