Besides the downgrade (which affects the chip industry, and not just Intel), another reason for a bear market is due to the uncertainty over this year's election and the raising oil prices. It doesn't take a seat on the stock exchange to realize that these factors affect a bellweather like Intel more than poor corporate performance. You do the math.
