Wunderlich Securities initiates coverage ATP Oil & Gas (Nasdaq: ATPG) with a Buy. Price target $9.50.

Wunderlich analyst says, "We currently value ATP on a net asset value basis until the production/cash flow projection becomes less volatile. We believe the market should soon recognize ATP's potential value as additional assets are sold in the marketplace. ATP's hub strategy has provided the company with advantages not available to other offshore peers. In addition, the company's high success drilling rate should provide investors with additional confidence going forward."
