spp119:thanks for all your info here...great to have discussion that is meaningfull as are most of the posts found on this board.The 14+B number was the best 17 prospects that were seismic'd(lol)....out of I believe 49 ...some lesser structures...were also identified but were not quantified.
I guess what I am saying is there is much more oil in the JDZ (hopefully 50% recoverable)...by best estimates years ago.Now,I do believe the #'s you are quoting are for Addax's share of recoverable oil..from just their initial drill program....as they know with good results they may not be around long after drilling!.Always great to hear all sides in civil discussion.

P.S.after drilling I think the #'s will be rivised to exemplify what is really out there....and if Addax wants to be sold those #'s will reflect "the company maker" excitement from OBO1...drilled off structure...and witnessed by our now....operations guy...the same Jeff Shrull ..who was with Chevron when OBO1 was drilled.
