IMHO it could go either way .... the American electorate is fickle.

Dubbya hasn't fully unleashed his quarter of a Million dollar ad blitz for re-election. The undecided vote could swing either way. The timing of the latest TERROR warning following the news about John Edwards selection as VP smacks of Political smoke and mirrors. Since both Kerry and Edwards voted for the war the anti-war voters could end up throwing their support to a third party and end up giving Dubbya and Cheney four more years to bankrupt the federal system.

I guess its really true ... I get more cynical as I get older. Anybody have any positive spin on all this ?

I continue to believe that Al Quaeda(sp) sincerely believes that getting Bush reelected is in their best interests and will continue to fragment the Western world. A "Homeland" event will serve their purposes well and assure the Cheney administration another term.
