Looking at the Apex web site I see the following:
Apex has also extended the reach of DVD players into the home network with the introduction of another new technology featured in the Apex DVD player AD-8000N. This unique technology has a PC card slot built into the player and supports 10/100 Ethernet of 802.11G Wi-Fi cards. This new, wireless system communicates directly with the PC allowing access viewing to any stored information on the computers hard drive.

Apex Digital has recently introduced a new line of digital cameras which are not only capable of capturing digital images, but also have the capability to playback MP3’s as well as short voice memos. This is a new category for Apex Digital and as with their DVD players and televisions the pricing is very attractive.
