Nah , just plain old greed , stuffing their own pockets at the expense of shareholders , while feeding the shareholders a constant stream of pinkyland-type PRs and "we're gonna dos".

and re beam's: "none of us ever believed that we would all be in a sinking ship/boat/tub together heading adrift, way "off shore" to be rescued or imprisoned by silent and unknown foreign partners." ... none of us? hmmm , I think by now it might have been 'years' ago that I started posting tables showing 90+% of Cornell's clients getting slammed just like this , and I do believe I showed the offshore component of Cornell/YA quite a long time ago and suggested this Cayman Island connection was probably detrimental to us shareholders.
