ACHN briefly mentioned on GILD Q4 '08 conf call

A general comment was made at one point that HCV was the "most focused research area" for GILD. Furthermore, around about the 38 minute mark of the call, GILD mentioned that it is focused on 7 different approaches to treat HCV either in-house or through "collaborations with companies such as Achillion." They also stated that these approaches have led to the discovery of "very interesting lead compounds." While this may not appear to be significant news, it's nice to hear them specifically cite ACHN as they had not done that in some time.
