I say yes. The team of new hires are all experienced for the advertising, cable, entertainment, and independent TV.
The country is READY for a 24/7 gay themed channel. There is too much money to be made off this demographic for it not to happen, and these guys are closer to being the first up and running, and hence the first to get branded in the marketplace.
So, if Viacom isn't up 'til Feb '05, there is still plenty of time to get a headstart.....they just have to get the deals done.
The PPS is reflecting investor sentiment after all the talk of advertising and launch, so it's not a surprise where we're are..... but all it will take is one announcement of carriers, and we will be flying to 2 cents faster than you can say "advertising"....
