Aero has received preliminary approval from the European Patent Office for the patentapplication on Aero’s product technology in 18 European countries. Aero’s legal counsel for patent matters received a correspondence that the Examining Division of the European PatentOffice intends to grant a patent based on the information that was submitted. With the order forallowance now in place, translations of the claims into French and German must be filed and the text to be granted must be approved by Aero. The countries available for the filing of the patent are: Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and Turkey.
