Upon further review, I can't find perpetual in the license. But AMD uses the phrase and perpetual is the equivalent of a life of patent license which the License Agreement delivers if the Agreement is not terminated and continues until expiration.

AMD can lose the Intel license grant if Intel terminates the License for cause (section 6.2) A change of control is specifically mentioned as a for termination (section 6.2(b)(7))
