simply put, it can just mean more people have sold the share for today, for whatever reason they believe they are better off selling the share, in comparison to the people who have actually purchased the share.
Just more sells than purchases, hence the lower share price...
It doesn't have to mean the company is dumping shares at all. (At the same time, that doesn't mean it's not).
