London is the best (most liquid) session to trade...then NY...after that things tend to mellow out a bit.

W/re to your other question (10/100)...depends on the leverrage you're on.....Kermit explained it nicely I believe in another very recent post.

Another 4x +....for the most part, u r able to set your leverage.....unless u r w/FXCM & on their micro side....then u r forced to use 400-1...which most folks here like since many say u need that kinda leverage on a micro acct. I tend to disagree when it relates to a newbie...that kinda leverage (even w/a micro acct) will wipe ya out fast...one or 2 mistakes & u r toast @ 400-1.
