Good job Coach! Here is some simple guidelines to follow for now.

1. Everyone add their name to the list below with a Metro area they can cover. There is no problem with doubling up as there are over 30,000 retail and package locations combined in the country. As you talk to a location, add your information below. Keep copying, adding your info, and moving this post forward as you talk to people until we get this formalized.

2. I am working on simple POP materials. For now, you are open to anything at that level i.e. package stores, bars, lounges, restaurants. I ask that you refrain from the superstore chains (family chains OK), grocery, and any distributors unless you know it is a distributor Drinks does not have a current relationship with.

3. Avoid the counter clerk at all costs and go right to the owner/manager. We will update the iBox as we go.

4. I will tell you this....management loves this idea and I will be adding more info here shortly. They are checking the "legality" of offering us incentives. But hey! If not, it boils down to organized word of mouth promotion.

5. A simple technique: Go in the store and look for Olifant. If it is there, find the manager and ask him how it is selling. If no flavors, tell him the flavors are awesome. If flavors, tell him Vanilla(or whichever) is your favorite. If no Olifant, tell him it was rated in the WSJ at #2 behind Grey Goose at a 1/3 of the cost. It would sell huge in his store....seems like he should have it. Let him know Drinks Americas just bought Olifant and they should have their other products. If Trump is there, then they should have the flavors. Tell him Grape is the Platinum Best in Show Winner last month at The World Spirits Competition in Geneva signifying "The Best Tasting Flavored Vodka In The World." Tell him Drinks bought Leyrat Cognac USA and have Dre, Busta, and 50 Cent behind the product. It will be huge. Just coming out. Topless Sparkling Vodka will be even bigger. Just coming out. Pre sale numbers are off the chart. You know people that have sampled it and they can't rave about it enough.

6. Get him/her to commit to getting something, anything that they will order. Tell him you will check back with him to see if it is in the store yet. Also, let him know that you are very active on a blog that is searching for these products nationwide as they become available. Once he has them, you will post the location so customers can find him very quickly over his competitors that do not have these products. :)

7. I am securing a detailed list of almost every major distributor in the country along with their sales managers telephone numbers so we can work on expanding the distribution network. If a single store says their distributor does not have it, then we will give him the name of a distributor in his area that does. If a store wants product and the distributor says no, then we will have a talk with that distributor if he is not a current Drinks customer.

8. As I said, we will refine as we go.
