however at least one player in the "club" would need to be pretty big and stable. any ideas outside samsung that would have tipping point level of resources that would want a next generation logic process?

if tsmc (or other) had enough money they'd already be going it alone. the fact that there is a "club" means that none feel comfortable footing the whole bill and the whole technology risk.
